    Already Overseas

    If you are already overseas and need travel insurance due to your previous policy expiring, or you forgot to buy travel insurance and need to be covered while overseas and for your return trip back to Australia you can purchase while overseas. The trip must end at your home in Australia. A 48 hour waiting period applies for all policies purchased when you are already overseas. Click here to find out more

    Annual Multi Trip

    Annual Multi Trip Plan, trip(s) means any travel up to 31, 45, 62 & 91 days in duration based on the plan you select. This duration is between the departure date and return date shown on your Certificate of Insurance. Each trip must:
     
    • Start and end at your home in Australia, and 
    • Be to a destination of at least 100km from your home in Australia, and 
    Designed for people who are travelling internationally and domestically. 

    Children & Under 18's

    Cover is extended to include Your children or grandchildren not in full-time employment who are under the age of 18 and are travelling with you for the entire duration of Your journey. It is a condition of cover that any accompanying children are noted on Your Certificate of Insurance.

    Child/Children must be the Children or Grandchildren of an Adult traveller that is on the same policy.

    If there is a child under 18 that is not a Child or Grandchild of an adult traveller on the policy please get a separate quote to apply travel insurance correctly.

    Coronavirus - Medical Cover

    Medical cover is included on all international policies for Corona Virus. If you need to be treated for coronavirus while travelling with will be included under Overseas Medical Expenses & Assistance.

    Cruise

     

    • Cruising is covered as standard on all international policies. 
    • If the cruise only stops in one country, just select that country. If the cruise stops at multiple destinations, add each destination. 
    • If the cruise only stops within Australia ports, please select ‘Australia - Cruise'

    Motorcycle

    One Way

    Policies are available for one-way travel overseas or to return back to Australia! Enter your departure and return dates which would be your active dates of insurance. Trip must start or end at your home in Australia. Find out more about one way travel insurance

    Thailand - Attractions

    Vimanmek Palace

    Vimanmek Palace has 81 rooms which was once a royal summer retreat. The Vimanmek was rebuilt in 1900 in Bangkok, and is a must see when visiting Thailand

    Wat Pho 

    Wat Pho is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. Wat Pho is home to the Reclining Buddha. The Buddha's statue is enormous at 46m long and 15m high.

    Chiang Mai City

    In the North is Chiang Mai, Thailand's second-largest city and a centre for excursions to the region's hill tribes, ancient temples and the Golden Triangle. Climb the 300 steps to Doi Suthep temple for astonishing views of Chiang Mai city.

    Kanchaneburi 

    Kanchanaburi, is associated with WWII and the allied forces who were forced to build the Death Railway and the Bridge over the River Kwai. Kanchanaburi is surrounded by waterfalls and jungles, and you can even spend the night on a floating raft house.

    National Park 

    Khao Sok National Park is located in the south of Thailand. Open your eyes to superb limestone formations laced with sparkling streams and waterfalls. You can stay in a bamboo rafthouse or even a tree house

    Phang Nga Bay 

    Phang Nga Bay is renowned for its seascape and limestone islets emerging from a lucid sea. Easy to travel to from Phuket.

    Wat Phra Kaeo Palace

    Marvel at Bangkok's glittering Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaeo - a temple complex housing the Emerald Buddha. Upriver are the Royal Barges, ornate barges used for special processions on the Chao Phraya River.

    Ayitthaya (Old Capital of Thailand)

    You can visit the original capital of Thailand, Ayutthaya. Ramble through the ruined palaces by bicycle, foot or if you are feeling adventurous on the back of an elephant.

    Historical Site 

    Take time to explore the little-visited northeastern part of Thailand, especially Phimai, one of the most important Khmer historical sites in Thailand, dating from the 11th century. The complicated structures accept some resemblance to Angkor Wat and many lintels depict scenes from the epic Ramayana.
